An email from my dad re: cruise planning
Mom and I used to sit around in upstate NY on a cold winters night – windy, snowy and about 10-20 below zero before any talk of wind-chill and out of desperation plot a flight to Florida. It helped preserve the will to live.
Given that America was started before central heat and snow plows – why are there people living in the North? Why is Elfreths Alley like 300 years old?

Did something change and it’s not okay to put two spaces after a period anymore? Because when I had my Down Jones Newspaper Fund Copy Editor internship training, they pretty encouraged us to stick with normal grammar and punctuation rules and use two spaces. So…did I miss something?

WHY HAS JAMIE NOT BEEN ELIMINATED FROM TOP CHEF...
Seriously, this is ridiculous! She is clearly the worst chef on this show. And yet, just like on her season, where she was also terrible, she keeps scraping by and somehow not getting eliminated when chefs who are far superior to her go home (see: Spike, Dale). She didn’t even show her food in 2 of the episodes!
